Who We Are
IFRION Advisory ("IFRION", "we", "us", "our") is a UK-based Technical Accounting and Financial Reporting Advisory firm. This policy explains what personal data we collect through this website, why we collect it, how we use it, and the rights you have over it. We are the data controller for the personal data described in this policy. If you have any questions, contact us at advisory@ifrionadvisory.co.uk.
What Data We Collect
We collect personal data in the following ways:
- Contact and enquiry forms — name, email address, phone number, company name, and any details you choose to include in a message, RFP submission, or appointment request.
- File uploads — documents you attach to a Request for Proposal are used solely to scope your enquiry and are not retained in permanent storage on our server.
- Booking data — if you book a consultation via our Calendly widget, Calendly (a third-party provider) collects your name, email, and selected time slot under its own privacy policy.
- Analytics data — we use Google Analytics (gtag.js) to understand how visitors use this site, including pages viewed, approximate location, device type, and referral source. This data is aggregated and does not directly identify you.
How We Use Your Data
We use the personal data you provide to respond to enquiries, schedule consultations, prepare proposals, and — where you've engaged us — deliver advisory services. We use aggregated analytics data to understand site performance and improve our content. We do not sell your personal data to third parties.
Legal Basis for Processing
Under UK GDPR, we process your data on the basis of: (a) your consent, where you submit a form or book a consultation; (b) our legitimate interest in responding to business enquiries and operating this website; and (c) the performance of a contract, once you engage us as a client.
Cookies
This site uses cookies set by Google Analytics to distinguish visitors and measure site usage, and cookies set by Calendly when the booking widget is loaded. You can control or delete cookies through your browser settings at any time.
Third-Party Services
This site relies on the following third-party services, each governed by their own privacy policy: Google Analytics, Google Fonts, Calendly, and Tabler Icons (served via jsDelivr CDN). Our Insights page also displays third-party news headlines sourced from Google News.
Data Retention
We retain enquiry and client correspondence for as long as necessary to respond to your enquiry or fulfil a client engagement, and as required by UK professional and tax record-keeping obligations. Uploaded RFP documents are not stored persistently — they are attached to an internal email and then discarded from our server.
Your Rights
Under UK GDPR, you have the right to access, correct, or request deletion of your personal data, to object to or restrict certain processing, and to data portability. To exercise any of these rights, contact us at advisory@ifrionadvisory.co.uk. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the UK Information Commissioner's Office (ICO) at ico.org.uk.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this policy from time to time to reflect changes in our practices or legal requirements. The "last updated" date at the top of this page reflects the most recent revision.
